Changing devices During Account Link/Save Data Transfer
Please record the Inquiry Code found on both your Title Screen and Settings Menu (screenshot as well!)

Please ensure that you have started Save Data Transfer from the original device.

[Before you begin the Save Data Transfer]
Perform an Account Link or start a Data Transfer and record your Inquiry Code before moving to another device in order to continue with the most recent save data.
Select Resume Data Transfer on your new device in order to continue playing The Battle Cats.
※ Do not attempt to start or resume a Save Data Transfer in a location with poor network reception.
※ Data from Transfers that are not resumed within 3 months will be invalidated.
※ A Data Transfer performed using a Transfer Code will only save the associated data on the server for a maximum of 3 months. Please complete the Data Transfer within that time.
※ In order to perform a Data Transfer with Account Link, information from the associated account is required. Without a Transfer Code and Confirmation Code pair to input, you will not be able to continue the Data Transfer to your new device. Make sure that all digits are correctly recorded and that you have taken a screen capture of the codes to ensure that you are able to retrieve your save data.
※ Data Transfer can be performed without an Account Link, but the data transferred may not be the most recent save data.
※ Data Transfer can only be done once every 90 days after the first time performing one.
※ PONOS will not assume responsibility for data lost due to network error, device error, or user error, and cannot provide a guarantee that data will be transferred without error.
※ Data from the English version of the Battle Cats cannot be transferred to other language versions of the game.
※ Please tap the button only once when starting or resuming Data Transfers to avoid error.
※ Once a transfer to a new device has been completed, the original data on other devices will be invalidated and cannot be used.
※ Warning: Apple ID sign-in cannot be used with devices using iOS 12 or older.
【Note Regarding Linked Account Data Recovery】
※ Please note that there will be a 90-day wait period from the second Data Transfer performed using Account Link.
※ Be aware that one Save Data profile cannot be simultaneously played on multiple devices.
※ Please note that Save Data recovered may not be the most recent state of progress.
※ You will no longer be able to play using transferred Save Data on the original device.
※Apple ID sign-in cannot be used with devices that have iOS 12 or older.
※ PONOS will not assume responsibility for data lost due to network error, device error, or user error, and cannot provide a guarantee that data will be transferred without error.
[1]Configuring your old device (source device for save data)
※ When using Account Link to transfer your Save Data, it is not necessary to Begin Data Transfer from the original device.
※ You must first successfully Begin Account Link on the original device to recover Save Data on a new device using Account Link.
1. Select "Settings" from the Title screen.
2. Select "Change Account/Device" from the Settings screen.
3. Carefully read the information displayed regarding Save Data Transfer. If you acknowledge the terms, then select "Begin Data Transfer" from the Change Device screen.
4. The Save Data Transfer process will begin. Please confirm the onscreen information, and select "Save Data to Server" if you agree to proceed.
5. After confirming that your data has been successfully saved to the server, please record your Transfer Code and Confirmation Code. After double-checking that your codes have been correctly written down, tap the "Close Game" button.
6. Once the process is finished, confirm the onscreen information once more before exiting the application.
※ If Save Data Transfer is halted, then you will have to start from the beginning of the data transfer process.
(The previous codes used before the transfer was halted cannot be used again.)
[2]Configuring your new device (destination device for save data)
1. Select "Settings" from the Title screen.
2. Select "Change Account/Device" from the Settings screen.
3. After familiarizing yourself with the Change Account/Device menu, select "Resume Data Transfer".
4.After reading the displayed notice carefully, please input your Transfer Code and Confirmation Code. Once these have been correctly input, tap "Resume Transfer".
If you wish to restore your Save Data using an Account Link, please proceed from "Resume Data Transfer", then "Perform Data Transfer with linked account", and follow the onscreen instructions.
※ Please note that there will be a 90-day wait period from the second Data Transfer performed using Account Link.

5. After a few moments, the Save Data Transfer will complete. You may return to the title once the process has completed.
Warning regarding save data transfer
※ The Transfer Code and Confirmation Code received can only be used once.
※ If the data transfer process is halted or paused, then the previous code cannot be used again.
※ PONOS provides no guarantee that using a service outside of the one provided in-game will safely transfer save data.
