You can find frequently asked questions regarding "The Battle Cats" here, please read these carefully before making an inquiry.

Gameplay
App Won't Launch / Unstable App Performance
The game may not properly launch or function if your device has too little free memory or storage space.
・ Clear up storage space in your device by uninstalling unnecessary programs or deleting your cache.
・ Close non-essential apps running in the background.
After completing the above steps, please reboot your device.
In addition, please ensure that your The Battle Cats app is updated to the most recent version.
* The current version number can be found on the top right corner of the Title screen.
Login Bonuses do not appear, or Event Stages cannot be played
If there are problems with your device time settings or network connection, you may not be able to access time-dependent rewards and features. Please attempt the following to correct this issue:

・If the problem is experienced regularly while your device is set to manual time, set it to automatic. If your device is currently set to automatic, please set it to manual time.
※Time until proper function is restored may vary depending on your device and network environment.
※Login rewards may not be received while your account is in recovery mode.

・Whether or not you are connected to a stable network environment, there may still be times where a server connection cannot be established. Disable and re-enable your network connection, then restart the app.
HGT00 Errors
If, for any reason, the device time has experienced a sudden change, this error may occur.
In this case, first set the device to automatically update the time and wait a few days for the application to return to its working state. If you are unsure how to set the time on your device, please refer to the system manual provided with your device.
※Login rewards may not be received while your account is in recovery mode.

・Whether or not you are connected to a stable network environment, there may still be times where a server connection cannot be established. Disable and re-enable your network connection, then restart the app.
※Please move to a location with a strong network signal or a stable Wi-Fi connection, then restart the app.
Game Music/SFX cannot be heard
Enter the "Settings" menu from the Title Menu, and ensure that the Music / SFX options are not set to OFF.
If the Music / SFX options are grayed out, they have been disabled. Tap them to enable them (colored icon).

Musical Note: Tap this to enable/disable game music.
Speaker: Tap this to enable/disable game SFX.

If enabling the Music/SFX options does not correct the issue, please check the sound settings on your device itself.
※Please refer to your device's manual to learn more about how to change time settings.
About Items / Cat Capsules
I have not received the Cat Food I have purchased
Depending on the state of your network connection, Cat Food purchases may take time to appear on your device.
・Confirm that you have updated to the latest version of The Battle Cats.
・Please press the Back button on your device to close the application. Please reboot the application again after several minutes and check your Cat Food total once again.
・If the Cat Food has yet to be added, please wait at least 30 minutes, and try rebooting the application again.
※ The current version number can be found on the top right corner of the Title screen.
I'm not getting any free Cat Food
The Free Cat Food service is maintained by Tapjoy's services and is not under the control of PONOS. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask that you refer to Tapjoy's user support for further information by via the following steps.
(1) Go to the Cat Food Shop.
(2) Access the Tapjoy Offer Wall by tapping Free Cat Food → Get
(3) Tap "Missing Cat Food?" to show the inquiry form.
How do I find Cat Treasures?
Cat Treasures are received when clearing Story Mode stages.
If you want a guaranteed chance of getting Cat Treasure, you can use the "Treasure Radar" item, which is available for purchase (using Cat Food) at the Item Store. Selecting the Treasure Radar before entering any stage will give you a 100% chance of receiving the highest grade reward available. If there is no available reward from that stage, your Treasure Radar will be returned upon Stage Clear.
The Cat or Power-Up I got from the Cat Capsule isn't appearing in the Upgrade screen.
Any Cat Capsule you receive is sent to your Cat Storage. Until the capsule is activated, the Cat you received will not be visible on the Upgrade or Equip menus.
Please go to the Storage screen from the Cat Base or Cat Capsule menus by tapping the refrigerator icon.
Tap any Cat Capsule. You will be given the option to "Use" the capsule or "Exchange for XP".
Selecting "Use" will add the Cat to the Equip screen, or level-up an existing Cat or Power-up.
About Stages
Stories of Legend
Once certain conditions are met, you will be able to select "Stories of Legend" by pressing "Start Game" from the Title screen.
The Stories of Legend include time dependent event stages, collaboration stages, and a series of special stages intended for Battle Cats experts.
Once a map in the Stories of Legend series has been cleared, a new one will become available.
The Stories of Legend appear in a set order. If there are no stages that appear after a stage is cleared that stage is the final stage at this current time.
※Because the Cat God's miracles cannot be used in the Stories of Legend, its icon will not be displayed.
Event Stages cannot be found.
You must clear the Japan stage of Empire of Cats Ch. 1 before Collaboration Stages and other Limited Events will become visible at the Event Stages menu.
Questions related to Installing and Updating
I can't install "The Battle Cats" or I can't update "The Battle Cats"
If your device has insufficient disk space or memory, you may be unable to successfully update the Battle Cats application. Please clear your cache and restart your device before trying again.
A stable internet connection is required to download the update files. Please ensure that you are able to receive a signal from your location, then reboot your device before trying again.
※ Playing the Battle Cats on a strong network or Wi-Fi connection is always recommended.
How do I update my application?
■ How to update via Google Play
From the Google Play Store, find "The Battle Cats" application and select "Update". The update will then download and install automatically.

■ How to update via the iTunes App Store
From the iTunes App Store, find "The Battle Cats" app page, and select "Update". The update will then download and install automatically.
※ Please update only after exiting the game and closing the application.
About Save Data Transfer
Can I use Save Data Transfer between iOS and Android devices?
Yes, you can. Please refer to this page for instructions.
Can I use Save Data Transfer to recover old saves or recover save data from uninstalled or lost applications?
Unfortunately, Save Data Transfer will not recover data from uninstalled applications or lost devices.
It can; however, transfer saves from "The Battle Cats" application played from other devices so long as that device meets minimum requirements to run "The Battle Cats" and can be connected to a valid network. You will need both devices available to be able to successfully transfer your save data.

Where do I input my serial codes?
Friend Invite codes may not be input following the removal of the Friend Invite feature as of September 7th, 2015
If you have not been able to claim rewards granted by serial codes previously entered into the Invite Friends menu, you can contact User Support under the Help Menu.
